If you wish to proceed, we shall arrange for a qualified Tutor to contact yourself, and commence Tuition under the following terms and conditions.

1. Tuition in your own home, at a time mutually suitable to you and the Tutor.

2. Tuition on a weekly basis, (same time each week), consisting of hourly sessions.

3. Payment direct to the Tutor, who is self employed, at the end of each session.
(Current rate £25 per hour for Secondary, £25 for Primary, Advanced Higher £35 per hour)

4 Tuition can be terminated at any time, without reason, by you, or by the Tutor. In such case no further money is owed to the Tutor, nor will there any rebate of monies paid.

5 If you have to cancel a tuition session, please contact the Tutor directly. There is no charge for cancelled tuitions, but if tuitions are frequently cancelled, the Tutor will terminate the tuition, with the full consent of Thistletrain.

6 Please note that Thistletrain have advised Tutors that tuition can only take place when a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult (18yrs minimum) is present at the same address. Tuition can only take place in a communal area (i.e. kitchen, dinning, or living area). These conditions will be strictly enforced by Tutors.

7 Thistletrain has taken steps to ensure that Tutors are professionally qualified and are of suitable character. However the final decision to accept the Tutor appointed is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Thistletrain does not accept any responsibility for any loss or injury that may be incurred by members of your family or their property, in any matters connected with this tuition.

8 Please note that Thistletrain is registered with the Data Protection Agency. If you mislay your Tutor details, please put your request in writing to Thistletrain, and we shall send you a copy of these details by post.

9 These terms and conditions expire at the end of the academic year. (i.e. Next June). You must notify Thistletrain if you wish the Tuition to continue into the next school year.
